Food Program.

TCC provides 3 nutritious, well-balanced meals every day: morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. We help children develop healthy habits and expand their taste and interest in healthy foods.

All meals are included in tuition (no extra charge). Food is prepared fresh daily, on-site, in our licensed commercial kitchen. We serve only organic milk and yogurt. We use fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables, and organic and locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible. We offer brown rice (not white), and whole grain snacks. We never serve beef or pork products, or anything containing high-fructose corn syrup. The Caring Center is a peanut and tree nut-free environment. Children who have allergies or special diets (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free) are offered appropriate alternatives. View a: Sample menu.

Parents of infant children may provide breastmilk or a preferred infant formula, or TCC can provide a basic formula option (e.g., Enfamil or Similac). When children are ready for solid foods (e.g., purees and finger foods) these are prepared in-house and provided at no additional charge.

TCC participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), administered by the USDA – which means we strictly follow all CACFP guidelines, including age-appropriate serving sizes, balanced menus, etc.
